Since each saree is hand-painted, no two pieces are exactly alike. This adds a sense of exclusivity to the garment, making it a special and one-of-a-kind creation.
Each hand-painted design on a saree can tell a story or convey a specific theme. It adds a narrative element to the garment, making it more than just a piece of clothing.

Artistic Inspiration
Sushmita Paul has inspired by Rajina Pyo, 34 years old, a South Korian stylish dressmaker located in London who earned her degree in MA Fashion 2011 from Central Saint Martins.
Sushmita's solid colour, line, and shape in her clothing, as well as her modern artwork and architecture, served as inspiration. Like Rajina Pyo, she too enjoys using natural white, black, blue, and prints.
It is common for designers to draw inspiration from their peers or established figures in the industry. It would be interesting to see how Sushmita Paul integrates these influences into her own designs for Purple Boutique & Fashion.
