Purple Boutique & Fashion

With great pleasure, we welcome Sushmita Paul's entry into the fashion and textile industries, where she has established her own registered brand, Purple Boutique & Fashion, building on her varied experience in fine art.

As a fine art artist and having practical knowledge on hand paint on sarees and other clothes, she could make her imaginary design, texture and art on any apparels and make them perfect for their purposes.

Hand Paint on Saree

UNIQUE DESIGN

Artistic Expression:

Hand-painted sarees allow artists like Sushmita Paul to express their creativity directly onto the fabric. Each piece becomes a canvas for their unique ideas, making it a wearable piece of art.

Uniqueness:

Since each saree is hand-painted, no two pieces are exactly alike. This adds a sense of exclusivity to the garment, making it a special and one-of-a-kind creation.

Storytelling Through Art:

Each hand-painted design on a saree can tell a story or convey a specific theme. It adds a narrative element to the garment, making it more than just a piece of clothing.

FASHION DESIGN

Artistic View

The collaboration between a fine art artist and a fashion designer can lead to a fusion of creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation, producing clothing that goes beyond mere functionality and becomes a form of wearable art.

Artistic Inspiration

Sushmita Paul has inspired by Rajina Pyo, 34 years old, a South Korian stylish dressmaker located in London who earned her degree in MA Fashion 2011 from Central Saint Martins.

Sushmita's solid colour, line, and shape in her clothing, as well as her modern artwork and architecture, served as inspiration. Like Rajina Pyo, she too enjoys using natural white, black, blue, and prints.

It is common for designers to draw inspiration from their peers or established figures in the industry. It would be interesting to see how Sushmita Paul integrates these influences into her own designs for Purple Boutique & Fashion.
